Emerald Sage Photography will be the official photographer for the upcoming NSHA Pleasure Show. Every rider will be photographed throughout the day, with an emphasis on capturing natural, beautifully composed images that highlight the connection between horse and rider.


With years of experience in equine photography, from in-hand presentations to in-ring performances, I focus on delivering high-quality images that reflect the heart and effort behind every ride.


All riders will be photographed, but images are only delivered to those who purchase a photo package.

Q: How do I book photo coverage for a horse show?


A: Booking can be done conveniently online through my booking site, or you can secure your spot the morning of the show.


Q: Will I have to scroll through other riders' photos to find mine?


A: No! Each rider gets their own private online gallery, so you only see your images.


Q: Do I have to pre-book a package, or can I decide after the show?


A: Pre-booking is recommended for the best rates, but you can also choose a package after the show. Keep in mind, prices may be higher for post-event orders.



Q: What if the weather is bad on the show day?


A: I’m prepared for various weather conditions, but in case of severe weather or event cancellation, we will work with the show organizers to reschedule coverage or offer alternative options. Your booking can be transferred to a future show if needed.


Q: Can I get a refund if I'm not happy with my photos?


A: Due to the nature of digital photography and the effort put into capturing and editing each image, all sales are final once you receive access to your gallery. However, I always strive to provide high-quality images and will work with you to ensure you are satisfied with your photos.

Photo Coverage and Gallery Access

Q: How many photos will be in my gallery?


A: The number of photos depends on your chosen package:

Basic Package: Up to 15 images.

Deluxe Package: Up to 25 images.

Premium Package: Up to 40 images.


Q: Can I view my photos before choosing a package?


A: No, access to your gallery requires purchasing a package. This ensures the privacy of your images and a personalized experience.

Q: Will my gallery be public?

A: No, your gallery is private. Only you will have access through a secure link.

Q: What if I miss my class or have no good photos?


A: I do my best to capture quality images of each rider. In the rare case that we miss your best moments, I will work with you to ensure you receive images you love.

Q: Can I share my downloaded images online?


A: Yes! You have full personal usage rights for your downloaded images. Feel free to share them on social media, but please tag or credit Emerald Sage Photography when possible.

Payment and Refunds

Q: Can I pay at the show instead of online?



A: Yes, you can pay at the show, but please note that pre-booking online offers a discounted rate. Payments at the show may be at a higher rate.

Q: How does payment work when booking online?



A: When you book online, payment is split into two parts: a non-refundable retainer to secure your spot, and the remaining coverage fee, which is due before or on the day of the show.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?


A: I accept payments online through my secure booking site (credit/debit cards, PayPal), as well as cash and digital payment apps (such as Square or Cash App) at the show.

Q: What if I decide to upgrade my package after seeing my photos?



A: You can easily upgrade your package at any time by contacting me. The difference in cost will be applied, and you’ll gain access to the additional images or prints included in the upgraded package.

Q: What happens if the show is canceled?


A: If the show is canceled, your non-refundable retainer can be transferred to a future show or applied as credit toward a private session. Please contact me to discuss your options.
